Howdy,
I'm just wondering if there's a Powershell command or somewhere in the VM properties that might show me which ID created a given VM and when it was created. Anyone know if that's something easy to find?
If it's a script I can run against a bunch of VMs at once, that'd be great. Or if I have to check the manually, that work too but wouldn't be as ideal.
Thanks!

Also the Hyper-V Manager will list out the creation timestamp.

The reference to that script is reference to the old codeplex module that was written by a consultant for Hyper-V 2008. It is not a supported solution. It might still work - I haven't tried it because 2012 has all the Hyper-V cmdlets from Microsoft available.
Get-VM | FT Name, CreationTime
will get the creation date/time of each VM on a host.
As for finding out who created it, that's trickier because they are actually created by a service.

I wasn't sure if it logged the User ID of whoever was logged on when the VM was created or anything like that. Thanks.
