Personalization Group Policy Settings

Question

I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise in a virtual machine to evaluate the OS for possible deployment for new machines.  I downloaded the new Group Policy ADMX files for Windows 10 and there seems to be many options that are missing.

My main concern is the personalization settings.  I can't set a group policy to automatically pick an accent color from my background.  It picks the default color.  I want to set it to the school's color (green).  The sign-in screen also shows the blue  color and not the color I want. Everything I have come across so far only applies to Windows 8, 8.1 or Server 2012.

I also can't find a group policy setting to show the Computer, User's Files and Network icons.  The settings work on all of the Windows 7 machines but in the test environment, I only receive the Recycle Bin folder.

A lot of these settings are also showing as being unavailable because of existing policies so being able to set these through GPO or a registry edit would solve many problems.

Like I said, everything I've come across applies to every version of Windows other than Windows 10.

Hi qp_it,

Thank you for your feedback.

There should be articles working on the personalization part under Windows 10.

By the way, regarding group policy of the Start Menu, if you have interests, please check:

Changes to Group Policy settings for Windows 10 Start

I will check the personalization part you mentioned, if any helpful results, I will update here.

Regards
