I cannot uninstall SharePoint Designer 2010.  I had to interupt the uninstallation because I needed the computer.  When I tried to uninstall it again, I would get this error message, "Microsoft Setup Bootstrapper has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."  I need it uninstalled ASAP.  I even tried calling SharePoint phone number and they said I have to go to Microsoft TechNet website.  So here I am,..  HELP!  Pretty Please?Thank you, Amber

Hi,

Please reinstall it and uninstall it again.

If it doesn’t work, you can turn to the third party software management tool like “uninstall tool” to give a try.

Seven

Thank you for the responses.  The Fixit repair actually worked.  It removed all the Office 2010 programs.  Luckly for me, I did not have any other Office 2010 or I would have been in trouble.

Thank you so much again for your responses.

Thank you, Amber

Please reconsider this article if you re-install SharePoint 2010: http://thuansoldier.net/?p=180

A bit complicated with installing SharePoint Server 2010 after you uninstall Office 2010.
