Since latest windows 10 update remote desktop disconnects after about 30 seconds.

Question

Since latest windows 10 update remote desktop disconnects after about 30 seconds. This keeps happening. I have put a new image on my connecting computer several times and it works fine until an update is sent to it. I was able to do a restore a few times to get it to work again but after a few restores that doesn't work anymore and I have to reinstall windows from scratch. The issue is on the computer that I am using to connect to the remote computer. I see others are having the same issue but have found no good solution.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Start RDP.

Select show Options/Local Resources/More and uncheck smart cards.

Update network adapter drivers.

On the other hand, you can try Microsoft Remote Desktop app

hi,

1from your description ,you can restore windows 10 to let your win10 comuter work.so when your win10 computer work fine ,you can enter get-hotfix in powershell then print screen. when your win10 computer can not work ,you can enter get-hotfix in powershell then print screen.
Compare which patches caused your problems. can you give me these KB numbers of update patches ?

2 can you use below method to avoid that problematical patch?

3 can you enter winver in command prompt on win10 computer then look the os version and os version number ?[for example windows 10  enterprise 1809 (os build 17763.316)]
