Hello.
Could you tell me how that software is called? I used it before to change radios baud rates and establish communication between them. Its similar to arduino's serial monitor but this software belongs to microsoft and is pre-installed with windows.
Thanks. in advance.

Hi Oscar,
The oldest one I know of was MTTTY https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff802693.aspx circa 1995 but it was not built in. I think HyperTerminal is what you are looking for. It seems to be available in Windows 7 but maybe not 10 … see https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/hyperterminal-windows-10/b91760c3-86ac-47bb-abfa-2bf0b01aa9b7
There are quite a few terminal emulators that would work on both available now and are far more comprehensive like PuTTY, Real Term & Tera Term to name a few.
Sincerely,

Hi!
You can use third-party software with a license from Microsoft. As a developer, As a developer, http://www.serial-server.net/serial-port-analyzer/ program helps me a lot, I hope you, as a beginner or already successful developer, will help in the future. Good luck to you.
