Upgrade from Window-10 Professional to Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016

Dear Support,

I have "window-10 Professional 64bit" and I want to upgrade the same to "Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016". My Queries are follows.

1. Whether the required upgrade is possible or New license is required to be purchased?

2. Can we get OEM pack of "Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016"?

3. The licensing of "Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016" is country specific? Or can it be purchased in any part of world and used in different part of world.

4. The licensing of "Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016" is computer specific or volume licensing is required?

Hi,

There is no path to LTSB. You need to execute a clean-install. The LTSB installation is a different install.

Get the image file from VLSC or MSDN subscription.

You can purchase the Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC license though Volume Licensing.

You can get new devices with Windows IoT Enterprise (OEM) and your existing devices can upgrade to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise through VL by using the Windows 10 Enterprise Upgrade LTSC license.  The bits are technically the same.

Contact your Microsoft distributor and ask for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 license. There are a few price levels based on your target's processor. You will also need the run time key to go with the image.
