Disable write access for standard users on C:

How can I disable "folder creation" for standard domain users on C: drive of WIN 10 Ent so that they save their files only inside their profile

Currently domains users can't create files in C: sameway we want refrain them from creating folders

Note: 

We are not looking for below GPO

User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer:
Hide these specified drives in My Computer. 
Prevent access to drives from My Computer.

Hi,

 

Do you mean you want to set it to Read Only?

Just create a Group Policy Object, go to Computer Configuration >Policy > window Setting > Security Setting > File System and there - Right click and add %userprofile%\Desktop ....etc and there you can specify the rights on user or Groups.

But how this will not restrict normal users from creating folder in C:
