Question

For about two weeks, one of my computers can not go to this forum. When I try to log in, I get the following message: «Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.»
I managed to log in from another my computer and send this message.
How can I fix the situation on my host computer?

Try opening https://www.microsoft.com - it will show you as logged in, log off and try opening this forum again.

Hello,
I have also faced this problem few days back. Just remove login.live.com cookies from your browser and reboot. That should help.
Regards.

Kapil.Arya, thank you
I followed your advice in Google (where the problem was found), but when trying to enter the forum the system requires logging in. When I do this, the erased cookies are restored and the problem is restored too..
However, I found that I can easily log into the forum from Internet Explorer and from Microsoft Edge. Does this information give any help in determining where and what needs to be corrected to remove the problem from Google?

Here is a simple fix that worked for me:
Go to Control Panel and click Internet Options and in General tab click Settings under Browsing History. Then click on View Files and do a search for Microsoft (type Microsoft in the search box) and delete all the Microsoft cookies found (Ctrl+A then Del).

This appears to be a cookies problem and each browser has separate sets of cookies so which browser works or does not work depends on whether the cookies for the browser are the problem. For Google Chrome you might need to do both, log out of your account and clear the cookies for the page you are trying to use.

I assume you are not using any browser other than IE. I believe you that it works for IE but this probably has no affect on other browsers.
