Hi,
After I upgrade our computers from Windows 10 1703 to 1709 Software Restriction suddenly is blocking FileSyncConfig.exe. Based on my research, it looks like this file is now running from AppData and despite Group Policy already disabled One Drive, this file still runs after upgrade.
It is not an option for us to allow it in Software Restriction Policy. Does anyone have the same problem and how did you resolve yours? Thanks!

Hi,
Have you tried the setting below?
In GPO\User Configuration\Policies\Windows settings\Security settings\Software restriction policies
\Security levels - Disallowed
\Additional Rules - Path Rule:
Path: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\\FileSyncConfig.exe
Security Level: Unrestricted

Thank you. Instead of Path Rule, I did Hash Rule of Filesynconfig.exe. That works too.
