1st page is blank in crystal report?

Hi All,

I am generating a report using crystal reports, i am getting 1st page as blank and remaining pages im getting data??

Any body have any idea plz..........

right click on any tab and select Format section in the Report Header or Page header section if you have selected the " New Page Befor " option please deselect it .

You may also select the supress blank section checkbox in the report / page header check box.

I tried both the ways, but still im getting blank page, for less data im not getting any blank page(up to 7 records) ,If  my report is having more then 7 records then it is coming in multiple pages at the time im getting 1st page as blank............

Hi,

 If you are using any groups, check if you have "Keep together" checked and try to uncheck it and see if it helps. It should be in Section Expert and also in Change Group...

I am not using any groups or subreports, i had unchecked  "Keep together" then also im getting same as 1st page as blank..........

Is the length of one of your column values too long .. ??? and in design you have made it very thin so the lenth of the report gets long as in one of the records with that column has a large value ...... Try the same report with a different set of records.

yes u r right, i am having some columns are large length and some columns are small length, If i take one record also  some columns are large length and some columns are small length, that i can't split. Any other idea plz........

I suppose giving more space to the column with large data might help.

Cause the report does not give anything live vertical align other wise that could have helped.

I found the solution, i suppressed the report header and blank page is gone...........

I've checked 25 group listing in various forums and you were the first person to mention not only the Section Expert , but the Change Group option. That did the trick for my problem. Good job ! Thanks Klin6on !
