Having an issue where Office 2016 updates are not showing in Windows update on Windows 7 machine. Any tips?

Unless you have a Volume License installation of Office, Office Updating is not performed by WindowsUpdate/MicrosoftUpdate.

Hi Connie,

What's your detailed Office 2016 version, MSI or click-to-run? You can check the Office version by the following method:

Open Word 2016, go to File > Account, check the information under Product Information. If there is an button for "Update Options". You can using the click-to-run version of Office 2016. In this way, the Office updates would not go with the Windows Updates in WSUS.

You can directly get the Office updates by clicking Update Options > Update Now.
