Is it possible to disable cursor suppression (hiding) when tapping on the touch screen on Win 10? On Windows 7, I was able to achieve this by setting the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Wisp\Pen\SysEventParameters\UICursorMode to 0, but this value is not present on the Win10 system and adding it has no effect. Thanks.

Hi Michal,
Do you mean you want to disable pen cursor?
You could change all the setting about pen in Start\Settings\Devices\Pen & Windows ink.
If I misunderstand your issue, would your please provide a capture of the symptom for clear understanding?
Best regards,
Joy.

I do not have the "Pen & Windows Ink" menu available, probably because I'm using a touchscreen without a stylus. I'm not sure whether just disabling the pen cursor would help. What I want to achieve is that the arrow cursor is always visible, even when using touch.

Hi Michal,
I would apologize for my late reply.
As the limit of our test environment, I can't test the option on my side. I searched this result on other website. I think you might test on your side and feedback to us. I would be very appreciate if you could feedback.
According to my understanding, the following link shows if we untick "Show visual feedback when touching the screen" it would bring the same effort as "Show the touch pointer when I’m interacting with items on the screen" in Windows 7. (refer to the first part.)

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already tried every possible setting I could find (including that checkbox) to no avail. The option you suggest switches between the little diamond pen cursor and the circle tap animation effect. I need to configure the system so it always shows the arrow cursor whether I'm using the mouse or the touch screen.

I am using Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB, version 1607, OS Build 14393.2608. I wish to keep the UI cursor visible when using the touch screen. As stated by the person who started this thread, in windows 7 it was a simple matter of modifying a registry value. Can keeping the cursor visible while using the touchscreen be accomplished in the version of windows I am running?
Also, I do not have "Pen & Windows Ink" as an option in control panel.
