Hi MOJO,
Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

Based on your issue, I suggest you could try going to Tools -> Options -> Fonts and Colors -> select the Find Match Highlight or Find Scope Highlight option and then change the background color like the following screen shot check this issue.
Hope it help you!

Hello,
Visual Studio 2015 Color Theme Editor allows users to customize the Visual Studio 2015 color palette. This extension is supported for Visual Studio 2015 Community and higher.
It allows users to create and edit Visual Studio themes. Themes can customize colors used for menus, toolbars, tabs, titlebars, the text editor, and other environment colors. This Channel 9 video gives an in-depth description of how to use the extension.

Hi
Thanks for trying to help me out. I've downloaded the "plugin" and watched the video, but I'm nowhere near to find a setting that will change the background color of search highlights (in the texteditor).
There's like 1.000 settings, but I can't seam to find the right one. Any clue to which one is the right one?
Thanks
