Hello,

I have a cluster created for Hyper-V ,when i ran cluster group /status command  available stoarge shows offline,is this expected behaviour ? during the initial setup it was showing online not sure whether it will get changed some point in time. Can some one help me to understand the behaviour?

Note:VMs are available on line without any issues.

Hi.

I would say that the group "Available Storage" is empty. In other words there are no unused cluster disk.

If that's the case the the status is expected.

Hello,

Available storage, if you have available storage in your cluster storage group part and dont use this any service/application/group you can see online, offline mean you dont have any available storage for your use.

Hi,

I've cross checked several SQL clusters here and all are reporting "online" from a cluster group /status command. Even those with no available storage left report online status.

If it says offline for you, just bring it online with this command:

cluster group "available storage" /online

Thanks
