When the user run word merge on one of computers, she gets Invalid Merge Field as shown below. I try the same documents on other different machines. They work fine. How can I fix it?

I fixed this problem to copy the source file to template. Please refer to this post for the details: Microsoft Word: Invalid Merge Field

Hi chicagotech,

>> When the user run word merge on one of computers, she gets Invalid Merge Field as shown below. I try the same documents on other different machines. They work fine.

Does this issue only occur to the particular document or the error pops up whenever this user attempts to using mail merge in Word?

Generally, the Invalid Merge Field dialog box means there’s a mismatch between your data source and your main mail merge document. What if try replacing the invalid field with valid field from the data source and check the result:

Besides, if this is not a file related issue, please check if the build number of both Office and Windows on this user's computer are different with the others'.

Any findings, please post back at ease.
