Solution Explorer : How to enable tree view?

Question

Thursday, June 11, 2009 2:23 AM

In the solution explorer, I changed the layout to "show all files" and now I want to get back to the standard tree view however I'm not able to find any option / settings that would let me do it.

Have tried, show project files only option also however that also doesnt help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

PS: Couldnt find a better forum to ask setup related question. Hope I'm addressing the right forum.

Hi Blvgari,
If the files are in the a particular project within the solution you can just click the show all files button again to hide them.  This is done by de-selecting the solution explorer and making sure that you are currently viewing a file within that project.  You should see the "show all files" button appear in the top panel of the solution explorer.  If the files are in the solution and they were originally hidden you can select their folder and hide them.  Regarding your second question here is the forum for setup related questions (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/winformssetup).  If you have any further question please feel free to ask.

Thanks.

Thx Qaiser,

That was such an easy solution. Just a click away! Feels bit silly for not being able to figure it out by myself. :)

Thx again for the help.

Cheers
