If a user sends a Mail from the Shared Mailbox the Mail will be placed in
Sent Items on the Shared Mailbox and

We like dont like this, The Mail should be placed only in the Sent Items on the **Shared Mailbox. **
How can i do this?
Kind regards,

Hi adrian reinhard,
By default, when you send as the shared mailbox, mails will not exist in the Sent Items of shared mailbox, just in Sent items of your mailbox.
When you unticked the "save copies of messages in sent items folder" as Chris post, mails will not be saved in Sent items of the two mailboxes.
Previously, there was a command Set-MailboxSentItemsConfiguration name -SendAsItemsCopiedTo SenderAndFrom can set Outlook to save the mail in both mailboxes. But not available for Exchange2013 and later.
Instead, we can now use Set-Mailbox name –MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled $true to do the same thing. I think you have set it to ture once.
Based on your need, you can go to regedit-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\x.0\Outlook\Preferences, add a DWORD named DelegateSentItemsStyle and set its value to 1. Then mail only be saved at shared mailbox.
So, you have two options to choose:
1. unticked the"save copies of messages in sent items folder", keeping MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled to true.
2. use EMS to set –MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled to false and add the DWORD on your computer.(If you don't set it to false, it seems two same messages will exist in Sent items of shared mailbox)

Hi Eric,
Thanks alot for your informations.
Right now - DelegateSentItemsStyle is set on 0
also this is set Set-Mailbox name –MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled $true
If i change - DelegateSentItemsStyle to 1
Outlook Mails remaining in the Outbox
Do you know this Problem? - i have this problem not in every Mailbox in some it works and in some Mailboxes the Mail remains in the Outbox
Thanks alot,

Hi adrian reinhard,
You mean for some users, the messages still exist in his "Sent items"?
As I said, in my lab, when set MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled to true and add the dword with "1", I got two same messages in the shared mailbox's Sent Items. No messages found in the user's Sent items.
There should be something wrong with your settings.
Besides, have you checked the different paths of registry for different Outlook versions?

Eric Yin
