We have a system require to run an UWP application in KIOSK mode and require power button to shutdown
Due to security concern, there is not any input device (mouse, keyboard) allow connect to the system.
User only allow to perform all the process by touch panel
We already configure the option "Power Options > Choose what the power button does" to "Shut down"
In normal account, this setting is working correctly
However, in KIOSK mode account this is not working
the system policy also not allow KIOSK mode user can login to other user account.
Is there a way to enable power button shutdown for KIOSK mode?

Hi,
From my search , this is by design as kiosk is meant for public places. Disable the hardware power button will be a more secure kiosk experience.
you could enable shutdown key combination in the web wizard (ctrl+alt+del) which will let you power off kiosk easily.

Is any documentation shows Windows10 will disable "press power button to shutdown" behavior in KIOSK mode? I search online all information show "Disable the hardware power button will be a more secure kiosk experience", but there is not documentation mention "Power Options > Choose what the power button does" to "Shut down" option is disable(not working) if in KIOSK(Assigned Access) mode.
FYI, it is not allow to connect any input devices (including keyboard) to the system.
In this case, there is not way for user to perform special key(ctrl+alt+del) in KIOSK mode.
