Windows 10 - Remote Desktop App - Where does it store the saved desktops

Question

Wednesday, January 31, 2018 5:03 PM

So I am using the new Windows 10 Remote Desktop App from the Microsoft Store and it works great. However I moved to a new computer and I don't know where the data is to transfer these to a new machine. Can anyone tell me where it stores the files?

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

Based on y research and test, the profiles of saved desktops are stored under

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.RemoteDesktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\RemoteDesktopData

If there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to let me know.

Best Regards,

William
