I got the error while installing Visual Studio Ultimate 2013...
Unable to Locate Package Source.
Download Packages from the Internet
- Skip Package
- Please Provide a Location to search for the packages
- D:\packages\VS_Clean\VS_PreClean_vs.exe
I’m using Win7 SP1.
My log file (dd_vs_ultimate_20140519153414) is showing Failed to send request and failed to get status code for the Link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=319047

Hi Lorade123,
I believe your error is actually due to corrupt package. Please try redownload a healthy ISO from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-hk/download/details.aspx?id=40778( Direct ISO link: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=320679)
Then use the File Checksum Integrity Verifier tool to verify your ISO checksum and make sure it matches the following:
- CRC: B15A8A51
- SHA-1: DFC763DBE91060D0A5FC25D5DB2EFFD5C5A2163E
After that, you can restart your installation.

My package was working fine when I was using a 32 bit window.. but it causing problem after shifting to 64 bit window.
