Hi,
Ive created a new Subsite and have copied some documents into the shared documents area. The folder contains a folder named forms but when I copy it to the root of the Shared Documents library it renames it as Forms(1). When I look in explorer view, it is indeed a hidden system file.
How can I get my forms folder to not conflict with this system one? My theory is I would have to create a folder under the Shared Folder and then move the files to that instead of it being in the root.

The Forms folder is used by SharePoint to store document templates and other things. Its a reserved name. You'll need to call your folder something other than Forms. There is no need to copy that hidden folder anywhere else.
