Add a Linux Boot Option to the Windows Boot manager

Hi,

On UEFI enabled computers, loading two UEFI enabled operating systems, one being Windows 10, and the other being a flavor of Linux (say Ubuntu), can the Windows boot manager be made to show the Linux boot option as well ?

There is a guide for older BIOS based computers - http://blogs.technet.com/b/voy/archive/2006/10/13/how-to-use-windows-vista-s-boot-manager-to-boot-linux.aspx

but this procedure wont work for UEFI enabled machines, as GRUB is now maintained in the EFI partition. 

I can press F12 during the boot process to switch to the second OS, but its easier with the options presented on screen, without having to press any additional keys to bring up the boot menu atleast. 

Its worth mentioning that the old Legacy Boot option has been disabled on the computer, and both Operating Systems, have been installed as UEFI enabled.

Hi Madan,

It is always recommended to install Linux after Windows, with the GRUB boot option.

For the UEFI settings, well I didn't find out any helpful posts sharing how to add the boot entry under Windows Boot Manager, there should be some 3rd-party software available to manage the boot entries.
