Question

Just installed Office Pro and Visio 2016. When I insert text into a Visio drawing the default color is blue (not black). Cant' find any way to change the default font color. Seems absurd that it should default to blue. (Note: the font itself and the size are fine)

Hi Nerd,
It is the theme or default font setting within Visio Template. Go to Home tab, in the Font group, you can change the font color manually. Alternatively, you can go to Shape Styles group, click Remove Theme to change back to Black font:
Additionally, you can click File > New > Blank Drawing > Create, then you can insert a Text Box, there is no Theme applied, the default Font is black automatically.
