Hi,
When deploying an application through a collection in "Required-Install" state, uninstall button is greyed out in Software Center. This doesn't happen if the application is installed through a collection in "Available" state. We would like to have the uninstall button always accessible, no matter if the application was pushed in a Required or Available state.
Is this feasible in SCCM 2012 ?

Hi,
No it is not doable. If you require the software to be installed and you the uninstall it but the computer/user i still targeted with a required deployment the application will be reinstalled again when the Application re-deployment evaluation cycle runs, per default it runs once a week. So if you would uninstall it it will come back again that is why it is not possible.

Hi Geeths,
The "Required" means: Your IT admin enforces these applications. If you uninstall one of these applications, Software Center reinstalls it.
This is the difference between Required and Available. "uninstall button is greyed out in Software Center"-- Such a design is also based on this reason.
Best regards,
Larry
