Question

Hi
I'm trying to find a way to prevent users from being able to change their location services options.
I know there's an option to do it on an iOS device manually with a restriction \ parental control on the "Location Services" area with a passcode.
my goal is to do the same from the MDM.
I have Apple Configurator up and running and I have an Intune account, but I couldn't find any way to do it from any of them :/
I even tried to deploy a profile with the Apple Configurator but there's no option for "location services". I guess it's because users need to first define their Location once and only then apply the restriction. I don't mind deploying all the devices the location, as they're all from the same country
any original idea would be great!

Hi,
It may be possible to set this up via Device Supervision, but we don't have a policy value we can deploy to disable location services at this time.
We'll pass along the feedback and appreciate you reporting the issue you encountered.

I know this is old but I’m trying to clean up old posts. Did you ever solve this? If so it would be good if you could post the solution to assist others. If not, at this stage, as nobody has answered, I would recommend that you call Intune support.
You will find your local Intune support number here

Tamir,
Can you provide me with the SR # you got from Intune support? I'd like to follow up with them and I'll contact you offline after reviewing.
Thanks,

Hi Jon
thanks, but it's ok
I understood it's something very specific that requires development.
I wish that there was something like the Windows 10 feedback app or "Connect" for Microsoft Intune.
when I provide a feature request I have no place to follow \ vote with other people about the requests :/
