Question

We have a client with 3 users on a Windows 2012 R2 Standard cloud server. Every few days their redirected printers stop working. Some days 2 of them work and the other user can't print and it seems to be happening randomly. I've searched around and seen this exact problem occurring but with other versions of Windows Server. However, I have not been able to find a solution. In the print services error log we get this same message whenever their is a printing hangup. Always the "Win32" error and always "RAW data type" not printing anything. A restart of the print spooler as suggested does not correct the issue. Any help would be appreciated in this matter. Thanks.
This is the exact error message. The only thing that changes is the user and the file size.
"The document Print Document, owned by (name removed), failed to print on printer HP LaserJet P2050 Series PCL6 (redirected 2). Try to print the document again, or restart the print spooler.
Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: 173885. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 3. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: \S208-109-52-153. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 122. The data area passed to a system call is too small."

Hi RJL026,
According to your description, we may do the following things and check the result:
1. Check if the print driver is up-to-date, if not, download and install the latest print driver;
2. Restart the Print Spooler service;
3. Also restart the printer again;
4. If the above method still couldn't work, delete the printer on the computer then search and install it again, check if it could work.
Besides, here is a related article for your reference:
