Hello,

I have a problem on several machines with the RPC.

You can not perform WMI queries, each time you get the error message below:

The remote procedure call failed and did not execute.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BF)

the actions already performed are:

revival of services

WMI layer repair

verification of DCOM rights

check of the register

use of microsoft's "WMI Check"

winsock and TCP TCP layer repair

the problem is always the same.

it is a Windows 8 and Windows 10 machine

Could you help me ?

are you calling WMI on your local system, or calling in on a remote system?

As you did not mention firewall settings, perhaps the remote system is blocking the needed ports:

I am not sure which service you have revived, please try to check the following service and restart them again.

Remote Procedure Call
Remote Procedure Call locator
Remote Registry
RPC endpoint mapper
Windows management instrumentation
Windows remote management

Make sure you have configured WMI on group policy side and firewall side.
