Howdy,
Is there any Group Policy to control Microsoft Edge behavior on tab recovery?
I want the browser to automatically reopen tabs from the last browsing session when I open it next time.
Now I have to manually open browser tabs after closing Microsoft Edge and that's VERY inconvenient.
Thank you.

Hello,
AFAIK, there is no such policy :( Here is the article lists all available GPO settings for Edge:

Thank you.
Possibly there is a registry parameter such as AutoRecover one that enables recovery on normal start of Edge browser, not only for the case when the browser was preventively closed by terminating browser process?
No way?

Hi,
I didn’t find any group policy for this, even there is an option call “open with previous pages” can achieve this goal, I performed regshot several times, and following registry entries appear every time. But seems like modify these entries doesn’t affect this setting at all. I am afraid there might be no entries for deployment at the present stage.

IMPORTANT: This article contains information about editing the registry. Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs.
Please notice that Edge surely will be improved in feature days, and more policies might be included so we can control browser behavior easily.

Hi Deason,
Thank you for your response.
Could you please specify where exactly can I enable the "open with previous pages" option? I don't see anything similar in Edge settings.
If I recall correctly, in first versions of Edge tabs from previous session were automatically reopened on opening Edge browser. Not it's not so and I must close Edge by ending its task from Task manager to force it to reopen my tabs.
Otherwise, I have to manually remember all the tabs that were opened by the time I closed Edge. This is highly inconvenient.
