White list URL and IP address in Windows Defender

Hi Team.

Happy X'mas Greetings.

I am Anil from India.

Please let me know how can I whitelist some URL's and IP address in Windows Defender. (My system = Win 10 Enterprise N 64 bit).

I want to white list the following:-

52.70.61.173
52.70.61.144
52.1.223.154
52.6.28.224

<o:p>*.asana.com </o:p>

<o:p>*.sync.app.asana.com </o:p>

<o:p>The issue is I am not able to open Asana.com on my machine (Browser-Chrome). Asana support tried their best to sort out at last found the culprit was Windows Defender, and they suggested to white list thier IP address and URL as above mentioned.
Some days it opens after connecting and disconnecting VPN but not always.</o:p>

Please send me the detailed instructions to whitelist (Step by Step) as I am not a computer expert.

Searched this and found another post looks like you also, that has more info and mentions the Firewall.

Whitelisting IPs in the firewall is possible with a custom rule, but can you ask Asana;

Do they mean inbound or outbound?

Do they use any ports other than 80 and 443? If so what?

Are there any error messages occur when you try to access asana website?

I tested on my side with Internet Explorer, we could access asana website with Windows Defender on. So I think it is not related to Windows Defender.

Try to choose more information and go on to the webpage.

According to the error message, it seems that the certificate of the website is not update or register on Microsoft. We could contact with asana support to update their certificate.

If you can't access those website, please check if you computer is a domain joined computer. If yes, please contact with administrator, they might configured firewall for blocking the website.
