Error downloading Findtime app from Findtime.Microsoft.com
Oh no! We hit an error.
ServiceResponseException thrown, result code: ErrorAccessDenied, errorMessage: The user does not have sufficient permissions to perform this operation
Are the permissions for this download granted at the O365 tenant or the local desktop?

I am assuming that it is working for other users in your tenant? Is your account set up different than theirs? Hybrid mailbox etc?
Try asking your tenant admin to install it for you and see fi that works.

Hi,
>>Are the permissions for this download granted at the O365 tenant or the local desktop?
What about other users in your environment? As far as I know, you only need an Office 365 subscription, then you can install the add-in and send FindTime invites.
On Findtime.Microsot.com portal, if you click the "Install for free" button, you will only need to enter your Office 365 account, no special permission needed on Office 365 side for installing this add-in. Please make sure you have used a correct Office 365 account for this.
Also, on the local desktop side, make sure that you are logging with a local administrator account, which has the right permission to install software on the computer.
Hope this helps.

I have the exact same problem as RoxBox19. I have total control over my laptop and can sign-in to my O365 account without a problem. It just keeps throwing the permissions error. No entries in Event Logs. No help anywhere.
"ServiceResponseException thrown, result code: ErrorAccessDenied, errorMessage: The user does not have sufficient permissions to perform this operation."

Has anyone gotten this to work once they have received the message of insufficient permission to perform this operation.? I am in the same boat while for others it has installed just fine.

Try with a different browser or maybe with a new user profile?

I have been able to install the plugin successfully in the past at a time where this has just been announced as a new MS garage offer. Today a user asked me and mentioned the very Problem stated above. So I tried to Trigger the install again - and got the same error msg. So it Looks something has changed since then - either on our configuration or on the install Routine. Given that others are having the very same issue I tend to believe it might be the Installation Routine.

I was also previously able to install it and went to re-install it and got same error. I hope someone at MS is paying attention to this thread.

Guys,
I spent some time on this. Granting permissions is discussed in this article:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj943754(v=exchg.150).aspx
In the Admin center of Office 365, go to Admin Centers > Exchange. On the new page, go to Permissions > User Roles. Double-click to open the properties of a user role and check the box for "My Marketplace Apps". This will allow users with that specified role to install Marketplace Apps, including FindTime. Give them the "MyBaseOptions" rule if you want them to be able to see and manage their own apps.
Best,
