Hello
One of my 'power' users (!) with a 28 GB mailbox is having performance issues. In Outlook it often says trying to retrieve information from the server. Around the time he is having issues I often see the following logged on the Exchange Server
Log Name: Application
Source: MSExchange MailTips
Date: 4/16/2018 4:14:47 PM
Event ID: 14035
Task Category: MailTips
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: <servername>
Description:
Process Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Delayed`1[System.String]: MailTips query failed for mailbox <Display Name>SMTP:<Email Address>. Latency:OpenSession:45539, total:45539. The returned exception is: Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Availability.TimeoutExpiredException: Request could not be processed in time. Timeout occurred during 'Getting-MailboxFull'.
. Name of the server where exception originated: <servername>. LID: 0.
I have tried adding the Registry Key "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User" under the following registry key and set the value to 64. However the problem still seems to be there.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem"
Should I keep increasing this value or should I be looking somewhere else? I have noticed that increasing this value has caused my CPU usage to go up a little bit.
Many thanks
Phil

Hi,
"One of my 'power' users (!) with a 28 GB mailbox is having performance issues."
Could you tell us what is the detailed use of the mailbox? Is it just a normal user mailbox?
As per my experience, a server reboot will fix the issue, if it doesn't work, please check the mailbox and database quota settings and post the output here.
Get-mailbox "username" | fl *quota*
Get-mailboxdatabase "DBname" | fl *quota*
Regards,
Manu Meng

Hi,
I noticed that your mailbox size exceeds the database quota, even if you are not using the default database quota, we recommend you to set database quota (ProhibitSendReceiveQuota, ProhibitSendQuota, IssueWarningQuota) to be larger than 28GB, then check if issue persists.
