Issue with MultiApp kiosk mode on dual screens

Question

Monday, March 2, 2020 10:45 AM

Hello,

I've setup a multi app kiosk with an XML and a provisioning package that works fine with a single screen.

When I try to enable it on a computer with a dual screen, the session sign out as soon as I've filled my credentials to sign in.

If I shut down the second screen, the session load normally and if I start the second screen when the session is active, the kiosk mode works normally.

If I shut down the second screen before to sign out, the Kiosk mode stays properly configured but if I let the second screen functioning during the sign out, the kiosk mode is partially disabled at the next session (ie the session loads with the desktop - tablet mode is disabled- but the lock down is still enabled for the apps).

Is there a modification on the computer to set up or a parameters in the XML file that would allow the Kiosk mode to work properly with a dual screen session?

Thanks in advance for the assistance,

Regards,

CJ

Hi,

Based on my research,  it maybe not proper dual monitor support while in Kiosk mode.

Some users find script may helpful, just for your reference, you can try the method mentioned in them:

Hello Farena,

Many thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately, you confirm that Kiosk mode does probably not support dual screen display.

Regarding the link you've provided, I already had a look but it refers to Chrome Kiosk, what is not relevant with what I try to setup.

In case I find a workaround, I'll post it on the forum.

CJ
