Cant Access WD MYcloud on new win10 laptop - Error code 0x80070035

Question

Error code 0x80070035 when trying to map network drive to mycloud.

New Dell win10 Laptop for work.

We have a WD MyCloudEX2 working as a data storage in the office.  Only 2pcs and 1 laptop connected.  All was working fine.  New PC has it listed as storage and will open dashboard via IP address over the internet.

However I previously could access through windows explorer but on new system cant.  I try and map a network drive and get a message the following error has occurred;

The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.  I have tried witht he name of the NAS and the IP address but nothing for either.

I have looked online and seem to have tried multiple things but nothing seems to work or allow me to map a drive to this device.  Please can anyone shed any light on this problem?

Windows 10 Pro - Version 1803 - OS Build 17134.254

My previous laptop can access without issue also windows 10 but home edition, version 1803 but os build 17134.228

Any help much appreciated

 It probably requires SMB1, which is disabled by default in current versions of Windows 10. If you really need it (and accept the risks with using it) you can enable it manually from Control Panel>Programs and Features>Turn Windows features on or off. Scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support and enable it.

Thanks Bill, I had tried that yesterday but didn't make any difference to be honest.
