Question

After setting to lower resolution like 1280*720, the text and image becomes hard to see and feel tried after viewing a short peroid of time. The screen is not as clear as 1920*1080 with 125% DPI. As I have compatibility issues with some software, like VMWare and other games that are not functioning in DPI scalling and DPI scale compatibility mode, that is why I must change to lower resolution. I have tried a lot of ways including ClearType settup in Control Penal, changing the regedit, updating the graphic card drivers, using low resolution VGA mode and using DPI fix. Yet, the issue still exists. This never happened in old version Windows like 8.1 and 7. How can I do to solve the problem?
Computer Spec:
Graphic Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750+Intel HD Graphics 4600
Monitor: BenQ V2200Eco, use VGA to connect
Windows: 17134

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query here.
Please understand that low screen resolution can affect font clarity. Since we cannot use DPI in this situation, we can disable DPI virtualization for the application. For more details, please refer to the following link:

Thank you for your answer. However, I cannot find any option known as Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings in the Compatibility mode. Also, I did try the normal solutions and is not working at all as I mension in the question. So the question is not solved.

Hi,
Thanks for your replying.
we can try the option "open advanced scaling settings" that is the new feature for windows 10 to ease furry apps.
Besides, we can also use the option "change high DPI settings" under compatibility option to improve this issue.
