Question

Hello,
We have noticed some of the distribution lists' (Mail Universal Security Groups) setting "Require that all senders are authenticated" is being selected automatically whenever owner adds a new member to the DL.
Owner is adding members to the DL using Shortcut Rundll32.exe dsquery.dll OpenQueryWindow
This is a really weird issue. Please share any ideas on how to resolve this.
Thanks,

Hi,
I couldn't not understand your concern, the setting "Require that all senders are authenticated" is belong to one of the mail follow settings, it is not related to the group member management.
We could see the detailed explanations in the following article: Understanding Recipient Restrictions
If you configure a recipient to require that all senders are authenticated, any messages from senders that don't have valid logon credentials in your organization will be rejected. By default, only new distribution groups and dynamic distribution groups are configured to require all senders to be authenticated.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Manu Meng
