How can I disable the Windows 10 1803 Pro/Ent Windows Defender Security Center > Virus & Threat Protection alert that ONE DRIVE should be setup?
I can not find a GPO in the current 1803 ADMX but perhaps I missed it or misunderstood one of the options. If there is no GPO, can you tell me what the registry entry is so I can create a custom reg entry GPO to disable that 'alert'.
Thanks

Hi,
Disable OneDrive Notifications
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Notifications\Settings\Microsoft.SkyDrive.Desktop\Enabled = 0 (DWORD)
Also you could try to use Process Monitor or other software to comparing registry snapshots. Then check what changes in your registry after modify the Windows Defender setting.
Regards,

I am not keen to disable ALL OneDrive notifications as some staff use it and more will starting this fall. I simply want to disable the Windows Defender Security Center > Virus & Threat Protection alert that ONE DRIVE alert.
I take it from your registry comment that there is no GPO for this? If that is the case, can you provide the reg entry for just that one ONEDRIVE alert?
Thanks

Hi Ian,
Computer configuration > Administrative templates > Windows components > Windows Defender Antivirus > Reporting > Turn off enhanced notifications setting [Enabled]

Hi Charlie;
Do you know if that is configurable through SCCM?
This customer configures nearly all of their SCEP/Defender setting through SCCM.
I have run a few searches but found nothing useful.
Thanks.

Hi Ian,
Sccm can push the same settings, just from a different console.
This link might help.
