Hello,

How to install the Hyper Terminal on Windows 10 ?

Is there any alternative application ?

The goal is to make a communication with a switch to configure it (Advantech).

Hi Cerkyr.

The article at https://cheapersoftware.co.uk/eb-blog/172-How-to-run-the-HyperTerminal-program-on-Windows-10 describes how you can run the old Hyper Terminal on Windows 10 (I didn't test it, therefore I cannot stet for sure whether it works fine or not).
Here you can find some suggestions for alternative applications to Hyper Terminal.

Do you just need the telnet client? 

From an admin command prompt run: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:telnetclient

Then run "telnet switchname".
