IIS Worker Process

Hi we are using exchange hybrid environment

on my mailbox server i can see w3wp.exe consuming 100 percent memory utilization and lots of processes running.please help me to resolve this issue

Hi,

What is your Exchange mailbox sever current memory? It requires at least 8 GB.

So please make sure the mailbox sever memory is larger than 8 GB, or we should increase it until it meets the system requirement.

Exchange 2016 system requirements

Besides, we could identify the problematic worker process in IIS manager, then recycle the app pool and check if issue persists.

could you please help me with the steps to recycle the app pool, will my users be affected while resizing the app pool

That is not so hard, just open IIS manager, click the "Application Pools", then you will see all the application pools, you could recycle the problematic app pools by clicking "recycle" on the right hand. Read the link I provided above, then you could identify the problematic one. 

The recycle time is very short, it should be fine for a production environment, if you have the concern, just do it in the non-working time.

So please suggest me
do i need to recycle MSExchangeSyncAppPool
MSexchangeMapiFrontEndAppPool and MSExchagneRpcRroxyFrontEnd

Just Recycle MSExchangeSyncAppPool.
