There is a file named "BitlockerActiveMonitoringLogs" in the system root of servers with Exchange 2016 installed. Bitlocker features are not enabled on either server. I've only been able to find one article to suggest this is related to Exchange and normal, but was hoping someone could confirm and explain why it is there. The log has only one line "List generated at 2:27:58 PM." Thanks.

Hi fynderbynder,
Per my knowledge, this is used for Managed Availability Bitlocker Deployment Discovery, the log path is hard coded on system directory and no way to configure. You can ignore it safely.

So, existence of the file itself does not indicate encryption is enabled or occurring. Correct? Thanks.
