Anybody have any information on this error message/code received when trying to deploy an application with SCM 2012 R2
0x87D00289 (-2016410999) Failed to decompress CI documents.
If you need more information I'll be happy to supply it. This application deploymenthas worked on every other computer I have deployed it to.

Hi,
I would check the client for errors it almost sounds like the client is broken or perhaps the SQL CE databases. Have you tried to repair the client? You could also try to delete the *.sdf files in the CCM directory and then repair the client if a repair doesnt work.. then it will recreate the .sdf files.

My solution was to clear the SCCM cache and download the application again. It worked after I did this.

You could also try to delete the *.sdf files in the CCM directory and then repair the client if a repair doesnt work.. then it will recreate the .sdf files.

I was hesitant to try this because I was able to install Windows Updates to this computer. But, I'm reinstalling the client now.
