Manage Categories in Outlook

Hi,

I just wanted to know if it is posible to order the way the categories display in Outlook, for example, if you sort by categories, the red one is the first, the yellow the second, etc... Is it posible to change this order and customize it?

Hi Marta,

As far as I know, when you expand the Categories button, the flyout is ordered by the most recently used categories. If you click All Categories to open the Color Categories dialog, the list should be alphabetical.

As per your request, you can rename the red one with a name which begins with letters in front of the alphabet.

To do this, please click Categorize > All Categorizes. Click on the category and then click Rename.
