Question

Hi
I have 2 users whose folders aren't updating. Outlook says its connected at the bottom right but the folders aren't updating (Last updated xx/xx/xx). The only solution that works so far is recreating the profile. This works for an hour to half a day and then then it happens again. We are using Office365 with exchange in the cloud. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
Please disable using Exchange cached mode and open Outlook in Online mode to confirm if the Outlook folders can be updated automatically.
Please confirm if they can update the folders manually by clicking Send/Receive > Send/Receive All Folders. Click "Show Process" to view the folder update, confirm if there is any errors. Also check the following settings in Outlook 2013:
1. Click SEND/RECEIVE, in Send/Receive Groups > Define Send/Receive Groups.
2. Double-click the Group name one by one in the list, make sure the option "Include the selected account in this group" is unchecked for this Exchange account.
If there is any issue updates, feel free to let me know.
Regards,

Hey,
What the %&*# does Exchange cached mode even mean??? Why in the WORLD is there something called "Online mode" and how do I get to it? Where do I find the "Send/Recieve" option? Why is this so damn difficult, Winnie.
Thank you,
Barry

Hi Winnie
I'm experiencing the same problem s above.
1. If i uncheck the "Exchange cached mode" emails will download but if lose connection i won't be able to open Outlook.
2. By clicking send/receive nothing happens when "Exchange cached mode" is enabled.
