Hi,
Am trying to create a query/suggestion box in Sharepoint 2013. Any way to keep the submission anonymous and even the administrator can't view who created the entry?

Hi piyo27,
You can enable anonymous Access to allow anonymous users to add a post. Please take a reference of below docs:
- Discussion board - allowing post from users with anonymous
- How to Enable Anonymous Access in SharePoint 2013?
Or you can set up a workflow/event receiver to update author/editor of the post to a specified user.
Best Regards,
Baker Kong

Hi Baker,
Thanks for your reply. For "Discussion board - allowing post from users with anonymous", I do not have the administrative rights to do that. As for "How do I ensure "Anonymity" on a SharePoint Discussion Board?", survey may not work coz if the show username option is turned on again, the name will be displayed. Also, one can't reply to the thread. I need to be able to reply to the thread. The next option to customize item added event receiver, once done will need to deploy to SharePoint right? If so, I also do not have the administrative rights to do so =(. In your opinion, is there any other ways to achieve anonymity in discussion board? Was thinking if changing the created by and modified by in either document ready or presaveaction mode but not sure if that is feasible and achievable.
Rgds

Hi piyo27,
Without administrative rights, we think there is little option to make the post anonymous. You may need to contact the administrator to customize it as there is no built-in functionality to anonymous the author and it's not possible to change editor prior to doc ready.
Best Regards,
Baker Kong
