Hi barrejf,

Is this a domain environment? Are you using proxy configuration?

Please untick all the proxy configuration to have a troubleshoot.

Settings\Network & configuration\Proxy\Untick all the configurations then restart the machine

Best regards

Not seeing this warning on my 14361. It is a warning not an error. Do you have any other issues with connectivity?

Would appear related to Web Proxy Autodiscovery Protocol so what network are you connected too? Who administrates the network have you talked to them?

Again ( like your other thread), what is the underlying issue that prompted you to look in event viewer?

As an IT Professional I frequently review the Windows logs along with others.  I'd like to understand why I am receiving the error and how to resolve it.

It is a warning according to your description "Level: Warning". You are receiving the warning because wpad is not being resolved as a name on your network. That would be related to the your network setup, so what is your network setup? What is the DHCP server? Do you use a proxy server for web access?
