Chkdsk running. Help explain what i am seein

I have network storage Buffalo Tearastaion connected to windows server 2008 R2 through ISCSI Initiator.

I got one problem last 10 days, which said 

U:/ is not accessible 

The parameter is incorrect

I check online for that, I found that I have to run  chkdsk /f u:

and its look started very will for few times, after that its reach below massage:

Deleting index entry SIDE WALL OUT SIDE VIEW.psd in index $I30 of file 2304
  2850956 index entries processed.
Index verification completed.
CHKDSK is scanning unindexed files for reconnect to their original director
Recovering orphaned file GVCSetup32_4.9.0.1202_EN.rar (264077) into directo
le 649271.
Recovering orphaned file Thumbs.db (2298216) into directory file 2137905. 

Since last 8 days am waiting to finish this task.

Can you please advice ?

I don;t want lose the data, its very important

I saw online, I have to keep the process going until complete. but when ?

Its a crap shoot but better to not kill it. You can read here about the five stages. May be less likely damage in stage four and five.

That's a tough one. The bigger it is the longer it takes. Buffalo may have so insight as to how long.

So If I want stop the chkdsk the hard drive will damage and data will be lost ?

I got today this massage while chkdsk process 

Error in writing the output log.

and still going I think

Yikes, it might be the disk is now completely filled up.
