Microsoft Excel Application entry missing in DCOMCNFG

I  tried to giving permissions at system level by following with two options..
(1)Option :-

  1. go to DCOMCNFG
  2. In the left tree structure, right click on My Computer and select Properties
  3. Click on COM SECURITY tab
  4. Give Permissions to Network Service and Users in the "Access Permissions" and "Launch and Activation Permissions" by clicking the Edit Default buttons.

(2 )Option :-
On 64 bit system:
Start
Run
mmc -32
File
Add Remove Snap-in
Component Services
Add
OK
Console Root
Component Services
Computers
My Computer
DCOM Config....here i did not find .... 
...

But i did n't get Microsoft Excel Application by using both ways..

Can any body help me...how can add Microsoft Excel Application into DECOMCNFG

What's the version of the operating system here? What is the version of the Excel application installed on the computer?

"This problem can be resolved if you install MSOFFICE 2007 enterprise edition on windows server 2008. That's all you are done unlike in windows server 2003 you need not to configure any dcomsettings."

"1. In DCOMCNFG, right click on the My Computer and select properties. 
2. Choose the COM Securities tab
3. In Access Permissions, click "Edit Defaults" and add Network Service to it and give it "Allow local access" permission. Do the same for <Machine_name>\Users.
4. In launch and Activation Permissions, click "Edit Defaults" and add Network Service to it and give it "Local launch" and "Local Activation" permission. Do the same for <Machine_name>\Users

Press OK and thats it. i can run my application now."
