If I plug-in my LAN, My Wi-Fi should disconnect
If I use Wifi, My LAN should disconnect
Any option to achieve this??
If i Check ipconfig/all it is displaying 2 IP's (one from wifi and another from LAN)

You will need to set a static IP for both interfaces. Only set a gateway on the interface that has internet access.

It depend...
Some laptops have built-in configuration to prevent that Ethernet and WLAN are connected at the same time.
In Dell Laptops, this is configured in the BIOS using Control WLAN Radio in Power Management.
You should check your computer's manual to see if you have something like this.
If you don't have such possibilities natively, you can have a look at Wireless Autoswitch

I know this is an older thread, however, someone might find it useful.
This is a simple adjustment to Ethernet LAN priority settings in Windows 10.
Follow these simple steps below and both devices will be functioning concurrently.
- Go to network and sharing center in control panel.
- Select change adapter settings
- Right click on your Ethernet device and select properties on popup menu.
- In properties menu, click configure button.
- When configure menu, select advanced tab.
- In advanced menu, under property list, look for "Priority & Vlan" and select it.
- Look in value list to the right and select disable toggle.
- Click Ok, on your way back out of menus and wait 15 seconds until system updates new value.
You have just disabled your Ethernet LAN priority so it will function together with your WIFI.
Good luck!

As I am a novice on these things I have a few questions regarding this setting: I tried it and it worked beautifully, now both my Ethernet and WiFi connects automatically at same time so I can both internet and reach wireless equipment in my home without having to manually start/stop WiFi every time. *EDIT* Maybe not - WiFi disconnected itself after a while? *END EDIT*
But as I have disabled Ethernet priority, does that mean only connection priority or also surfing priority?
What I'm asking is, will my PC jump between WiFi and Ethernet randomly when using the net, for downloads, games, surfing, or will it still prioritize the Ethernet cable (as its faster) for those functions and only use the WiFi for the wireless equipment? Or will it perhaps use both, and if so is that good or bad (speed wise)?
Please explain like to a *cough*moron as I'll probably need it to understand. =)

To turn off the Wi-Fi when you are connected to Ethernet do the following:
1. Restart the computer
2. Press F2 to enter the bios
3. Go to Power Management
4. Select Wireless Radio Control
5. Tick Contro WLAN radio and WWAN radio
Now when you connect the cable, the Wi-Fi adapters will be disabled automatically. When you remove the wire, they will wake up automatically.

I am studying Computer Science at a university where I have 100mbps ethernet and 100mbps wifi available in my dorm. I have always been using the ethernet for everything as its way more stable when downloading games than wifi which fluctuates a lot. I wanted to combine both of them to increase my speed and looked online and found that i have to make a network bridge so that both the connections get combined. The steps are as below:
- Go to Control Panel and click Network and Internet.
- Click Network and Sharing Center.
- On the left column click change adapter settings.
- Select both the connections and right click to see options. Click network bridge.
- Windows will automatically make a network bridge and you are done.
Have a good day!
