Question

Recently I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 10. I was using the Microsoft Loopback adapter previously with no issues. After the upgrade the Loopback adapter was re-added, IP addressed, and software was re-installed that bound to this adapter. Previously traffic received on other adapters was correctly forwarded to the software on the Loopback. Now it seems that traffic is no longer forwarded, instead ICMP redirects are generated by Windows. Both turning off the firewall and enabling forwarding have not helped. Is this a known issue and is there a resolution that can be applied?
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
The loopback is now called Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter
try this, right click start choose Run. Enter hdwwiz.exe click ok
Click Next, select 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)' click Next, scroll down select 'Network adapters' click Next, what for the list to retrieve, select 'Microsoft' in the in the left pane (at the bottom), in the right plane select 'Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter' (third from bottom) click Next, Next again wait for it to install click Finish.
Then, check the issue after above steps.

How do you create this connection?
Would you mind explain your setup a bit?
