Question

Hello Everybody,
I am trying to install Project Honolulu (HonoluluTechnicalPreview1709-20016.msi) on a Windows Server 2016 (1607 Build 14393) box.
I use a SHA 256 certificate from our internal PKI and copy the thumbprint using "certutil -store my"
I get the following error message whatever port I try.
If I use the same port but choose the "use self signed cert..." option it works.
Any Ideas on that?
Thank you
Kind Regards
Andreas

Hi there,
finally I have found the issue. I installed the certificate using the .crt file which doesn't contain the private key. Installing the certificate using the .pfx which contains the private key did the trick.
The error message "can not reserve port" is a bit misleading.
Hope this helps
Kind Regards
Andreas

I am having the same issue, but with a third party certificate.
What can I do to get around this issue?
Thanks Paul.
