Save the shape as an AutoText (Building Block) entry for easy reuse.

Hi,
Select the shape in the document, go to INSERT tab -> Text -> Quick Parts -> AutoText -> Save Selection to AutoText Gallery. Type the name for the shape and click OK.
More information about Automatically insert text can be found here:http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/word-help/automatically-insert-text-HA102749204.aspx

It's recommended to download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs.
